Adding KSBO's to a Skills Bootcamp

Before you start to add KSBO's to an Apprenticeship Course, make sure you have created the Course.

If you haven't already completed this step, then you will want to check out the following article first:


Create a Skills Bootcamp Course.

Step 1: Click Courses in the left-hand menu.
Step 2: Click Edit under Actions in the Courses table.

Step 3: Click on the KSB tab.

Step 4: If you haven't already, add the Unit(s) to the course by clicking the + button on the right hand side of the screen.


Note: You may have to use the scroll bar (at the very bottom of the page) to scroll across and locate the + button.

Step 5: Complete the + Add Unit pop-up. Below is a description of each field:


Name: The Name of the Unit.

Delivery Lead: The main organisation delivering the Unit.

Delivery Method: The Method of Delivery of the Unit.

Delivery Hours: The number of Delivery Hours for the Unit.

Off-the-Job Hours: The number of Off-the-Job Hours for the Unit.

Step 6: Next, click the + button to add a Group (all KSBO's must belong to a Group) and give the Group a Title. In the screenshot below, we have used the Group Title of 'Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours'.
Step 7:  Once you have added the Group you will see the relevant sections (Knowledge, Skills, Behaviours and Others) where you can add each KSBO. Click the + buttons located at the end of each section to add the relevant KSBO's to the Group.
Step 8: Once you have added all Groups and relevant KSBO's, click Save at the bottom of the screen to Save the Course.
Note: You can add the KSBO's and Units in any order.
