How to Push Course Changes to Learners in a Cohort
Jacob
Last Update 4 days ago
Courses in Rubitek act as the master version of your programme content.
While the update is taking place, you will see a processing message confirming that the changes are being applied.
The learner Programs within that Cohort will then reflect the updated Course content.
Important
Use Update from Course when changes have been made to the master Course and you want those changes to be applied to learners who have already been enrolled.
The relationship is:
Course → Cohort → Learner Program
A Cohort is a group of learners linked to a particular version of that Course. When a learner is enrolled, they inherit their own individual copy of the Course, which is called a Program.
If you make changes to the master Course after learners have already been enrolled, you can push those changes out to all learner Programs linked to a Cohort.
Update a Cohort from the Course
- Click Courses from the main menu.
- Select Cohorts.
- Find the Cohort you want to update.
- In the Actions column, click Edit.
- In the Edit Cohort window, click Update from Course.
- A confirmation message will appear asking you to confirm that you want to proceed.
Click Yes.
