A Learner who resides in either Scotland, Wales, Ireland or Northern Ireland (and is therefore not funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA)) will need to have the Devolved Nations Learner identifier applied, so that the ILR data is correct.
There are three ways you can apply this identifier:
A) Via the + Add Learner by Email Invite pop-up
1. Select Learners from the left-hand menu.

2. Click + Add Learners.

3. On the + Add Learner by Email Invite pop-up, complete all details and tick the Devolved Nation Learner checkbox.

4. Click Save.

B) Via Start Program from a Skills Scan
1. Select Courses from the left-hand menu.

2. Click Skills Scan under Actions in the Courses table.

3. Click Create Skills Scan and complete all elements of the Skills Scan.

4. Once you have completed all elements, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Start Program.
5. Fill in the relevant fields and then select Add Learner by Email Invite from the Learner dropdown field.

6. Complete all details and tick the Devolved Nation Learner checkbox.

7. Click Save.

C) Editing an existing Learner record via the Edit Learner Details pop-up
1. Select Learners from the left-hand menu.

2. Find the Learner you want to mark as being part of a Devolved Nation and click Open Program under Actions in the Learners table.

3. Click Edit Learner.

4. Click the Learner tab and tick the Devolved Nation Learner checkbox.

6. Click Save.
